The Global Future-Ready Merit Scholarship reflects CISM’s commitment to nurturing students who are prepared for future academic challenges and global opportunities in reputed world universities. This exclusive scholarship is offered to a limited number of meritorious students, including new joinees. Our scholars have joined Top 100 universities with 50% getting scholarships for higher studies.

  • Applicants must be Philippines Residents ( Passport / Special Study Permit / Valid Visa / Alien Certificate of Registration / Resident Visa).
  • Applicants must be from a Moderate-Income family as per the above category table.
  • Provide family income documents (Parents) /tax assessment (ITR Income Tax Return) for the past two years.
  • Appointment letter and / or latest salary slips / or Certificate of Employment and Compensation, where the parent has relocated to the Philippines less than a year ago.
  • Applicant’s academic performance (at least 85% marks and above or equivalent grades) of past two years.
  • Scholarship Assessment (if applicable)
  • One to One Interview (if applicable)

Scholarship Process

Step 1: Application

Step 1A: Documentation

  • In the case of local guardians, the gross family income of local guardians in the Philippines will be considered as a base for processing the application.
  • In the application form, upload all prerequisite documents.
  • Gross family income documents (ITR Income Tax Return/Philippines Appointment letter).

Step 5: Notification

 

  • Successful applicants will be notified by email within 4 weeks’ time (from the date of scholarship cycle closing).

 

  • Note: Applications submitted without appropriate support documents will not be processed.

Terms & Conditions

  • The scholarship recipient is not eligible to apply for any other scholarship/fees benefits.
  • The parent of a successful applicant is required to execute a CISM scholarship DEED as acceptance of the scholarship.
  • The Scholarship is based on merit and family income. In case if wrong and misleading information is provided, scholarship will be deemed null and void and this scholarship amount to be refunded back to the school.
  • The scholarship is a benefit applicable for studying only at CISM campus Philippines and is non-transferrable. The award of the Scholarship is at the sole discretion of the CISM scholarship award committee. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the CISM scholarship award committee will be final and binding.

Who is eligible for the Global Future-Ready Merit Scholarship at CISM?

Students who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and global awareness are eligible to apply. Both new and currently enrolled students at Chinese International School Manila may be considered.

The scholarship is available for students from Grades 6 to 12, covering Middle School and High School levels.

The scholarship may provide partial tuition fee support, depending on the student’s academic merit and the outcome of the assessment process.

Parents must submit an admissions enquiry, select the Global Future-Ready Merit Scholarship option, and provide academic records and supporting documents. Shortlisted applicants may be invited for an interview or assessment.

Yes. The scholarship is typically reviewed annually and may be renewed based on continued academic performance, conduct, and compliance with CISM’s scholarship terms.
