A key feature of CISM is the relationships that exist between students and staff, and among the students themselves. We are very proud of the care, guidance, and support we give to our students, which enable us to provide personalised academic and pastoral support throughout their learning journey at CISM.
In the Elementary School, each child has their class teacher for most lessons. The class teachers know their children well, and establish a strong partnership with parents to support their child’s learning. In the Middle and High School, students have a Homeroom Tutor who they see each day. The Homeroom Tutor knows their students well and provides support and guidance throughout the year.
Our assembly program explores different themes including our IB Learner Profile and aspects of personal and social development and welfare. Further help and support is available from our school counsellors and the school nurse.
Our Seniors are supported by our Careers and Guidance Specialist. We facilitate applications to universities and colleges around the world, helping our students make choices that allow them to achieve their ambitions and goals. We also help prepare students with life-skills needed to make a successful transition to their next steps in education, employment, or training.
