The 9GEMS Holistic Development Scholarship rewards students whose accomplishments — academic and beyond — reflect a balanced combination of talent, leadership, commitment, and achievement. It aligns with CISM’s philosophy of holistic development, where success is measured not only by grades but also by extracurricular performance and personal growth.

  • Applicants must be Philippines Residents ( Passport / Special Study Permit / Valid Visa / Alien Certificate of Registration / Resident Visa).
  • Students who have received National or International or Regional recognition, in the fields of sport, co-curricular activities including visual and performing arts, community service, innovation and entrepreneurship, showed extraordinary leadership skills are eligible to apply.
  • Applicant’s academic performance (at least 85% marks and above or equivalent grades) of past two years.
  • One to One Interview (if applicable)

Scholarship Process

Step 1: Application

Submit the application form.

 

Step 1A: Documentation

  • In the application form, upload all prerequisite documents.
  • Gross family income documents (ITR Income Tax Return/Philippines Appointment letter).
  • In the case of local guardians, the gross family income of local guardians in the Philippines will be considered as a base for processing the application.

 

Step 2: Scholarship Assessment (if applicable)

Step 4: Scholarship Approval & Intimation

 

Step 5: Notification

  • Successful applicants will be notified by email within 4 weeks’ time (from the date of scholarship cycle closing).
  • Note: Applications submitted without appropriate support documents will not be processed.

Terms & Conditions

  • The scholarship recipient is not eligible to apply for any other scholarship/fees benefits.
  • The parent of a successful applicant is required to execute a CISM scholarship DEED as acceptance of the scholarship.
  • The Scholarship is based on merit and family income. In case if wrong and misleading information is provided, scholarship will be deemed null and void and this scholarship amount to be refunded back to the school.
  • The scholarship is a benefit applicable for studying only at CISM campus Philippines and is non-transferrable. The award of the Scholarship is at the sole discretion of the CISM scholarship award committee. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the CISM scholarship award committee will be final and binding.

What is the 9GEMS Holistic Development Scholarship at CISM?

The 9GEMS Holistic Development Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that recognises students who demonstrate excellence in academics, sports, arts, leadership, and co-curricular activities, in line with CISM’s 9GEMS holistic education framework.

The scholarship is available to students in Grades 6 to 12 who meet the academic and achievement requirements.

Students may be considered based on national, international, regional, or interschool achievements in areas such as sports, performing or visual arts, leadership, community service, innovation, or entrepreneurship.

Tuition support varies by category and achievement level, ranging from 7% to 60% off tuition fees, depending on the student’s accomplishments and assessment outcome.

Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 85% or equivalent grades in the previous two academic years to be eligible for the scholarship.

Parents must complete the scholarship application form, submit academic records and achievement certificates, and attend an interview if shortlisted. Incomplete applications may not be considered.

No. Students awarded the 9GEMS Holistic Development Scholarship cannot hold another scholarship or fee benefit simultaneously.

Scholarship continuation is subject to continued academic performance, conduct, and compliance with CISM scholarship terms, as determined by the Scholarship Committee.

All scholarship decisions are made by the CISM Scholarship Committee, and their decisions are final and binding.
