Admissions Guidelines

  • CISM caters to students from Nursery to Grade 12.
  • Students need to have reached the corresponding age indicated below by the end of August in the school year applied for. Age cut-off dates for the different grade levels are as follows:

    Pre-School
    Nursery 3 years old
    Pre-Kindergarten 4 years old
    Kindergarten 5 years old
    Elementary School
    Grade One 6 years old
    Grade Two 7 years old
    Grade Three 8 years old
    Grade Four 9 years old
    Grade Five 10 years old
    Middle School
    Grade Six 11 years old
    Grade Seven 12 years old
    Grade Eight 13 years old
    High School
    Grade Nine 14 years old
    Grade Ten 15 years old
    Grade Eleven 16 years old
    Grade Twelve 17 years old

    Note: All students must graduate from Grade 12 before their 20th birthday. Students who do not meet that criterion will not be accepted even if they do not plan to graduate from CISM.

  • In order to be admitted to a particular grade level, the child should have completed the previous grade level.
  • Class sizes are fixed as follows:

    Pre-School
    A maximum of 20 students in each class
    Elementary School
    A maximum of 20 students per section
    Middle School
    A maximum of 20 students per section
    High School
    A maximum of 20 students per section
  • On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, classes begin at 7:30 a.m.
    On Wednesdays, classes begin at 8:30 a.m.
  • Dismissal times vary for the different levels.

    Nursery
    2:15 p.m.
    Pre-Kinder / Kinder
    2:30 p.m.
    Elementary School
    2:30 p.m.
    Middle School
    2:30 p.m.
    High School
    2:30 p.m.
